The rifle used by most of the troops during WW2 was the M1 Garand. That is what we encourage everyone to obtain and use. If you are an NCO, a technical rank, or part of a weapons team, you may use either a 1911 pistol or an M1 Carbine, or both. If you are wealthy enough to be able to afford an M1, M1A1, or M1928A1 Thompson or a 1918 BAR, by all means you may use it as long as you inform leadership first. The reason for that is so we can deploy you in a position that is best to serve the unit. We do not discourage our wealthier members from buying expensive weapons like the Thompson or BAR.
The Approved Weapons: U.S. Rifle, Caliber .30, M1 Garand with Bayonet 10” (Preferred primary weapon) Rifle, M1903 (rifle grenadier) U.S. Carbine, Caliber .30, M1 or M1A1 with flip rear sight, no bayonet lug. Rifle, Automatic, Browning (BAR), M1918, M1918A1 or M1918A2 (Fully auto or semi auto)(Post Normandy) Pistol, Automatic, Cal .45, M1911 or M1911A1 Sub-Machinegun, M1928, M1, or M1A1 (Thompson) Sub-Machinegun, M3 (Grease-Gun) Crew Served Machine Gun, Caliber .30, Light, Air Cooled, M1919A4 or M1919A6 Launcher, Rocket, Anti-tank, M1, M1A1, M9, or M9A1 (Bazooka) Reproduction hand grenades, rifle grenades, gammon bombs, hawkins mines, etc. – must conform to CHG safety policies

As youall are aware of, we have mobile arty, ME and together can really put out some fire power when needed and not waste ammo cover firing. Not to mention the MG's and the 60mm all we need now is a working bazooka for those up close and personal encounters.jm2c

Hutch is going to be working on his bazooka. We don't have a mortar. We can get along without it as long as we have rifle grenades.

We got serious when Irish Mike rolled in. Welcome amigo , yes we will laff again and rub out the enemy with little remorse. BAR, we should contact JFH (DONNIE) and kinda borrow "Ol Emmy".
