The NPTC is hosting Operation Volant Warrior, a currency jump training event and basic SF-10A course, on October 13-18, 2015. The National Parachute Test Center is in Dunnellon, Florida. The Facebook link to the event is here. www.facebook.com/events/935592226472518/The C-47 Tico Belle will be the jump aircraft. If you are interested, contact Duane Linford via the above or PM me and I can send you his contact information. Lift slots are filing fast. NPTC is a great place to get currency jumps. The ADT does not have an operating aircraft at the moment, so this may be your opportunity to maintain currency. I will be there from October 10-17 attending the Jumpmaster course. Once I complete that, we will be a step closer to conducting training jumps and air shows here in California.

The nearest airport is Orlando. Flights right now are about $320.
The aircraft is a C-47. Some people wear '42s, although you can wear any uniform you want. The RCPT and other round canopy teams jump there, including some ADT members. But strictly speaking it is not a WWII operation.
