Hello! An introduction

Hey there! I'm sure several of you guys have already seen me nosing around on the forums, asking questions about the unit. Only today did I see Mayo's post on requiring an introduction to start the application process, however, so here it is: My name is Noah Ropp, and I've just turned 15, which is why I'm starting to get into reenactment now. I'm in the City of Santa Clarita, and I'm a part of a Boy Scout troop in the area (this is relevant in a sec). While I'm young, I think you'll find me pretty well versed in history compared to most of my contemporaries. I've had a interest in our past, and particularly World War II, for many years now, and I've read quite extensively on the subject (reading's another hobby of mine). Through the Boy Scouts, I do have firearm training in NRA-certified programs, and have experience firing an M1 Garand and Colt 1911. I really respect this country's history, and I love how reenactors keep it alive in a way that our veterans won't be able to do for much longer. I hope to have the pleasure of joining your unit sometime in the future, and in the meantime, sorry for any dumb questions you'll find me asking. Thanks!
