Alan and Wyatt both need weapons. I've notified them both of this. If you've got pictures (or can get pictures/more info) that I could pass along to them, that'd be great.
Thanks!

$900 for a good, clean M1 is now a steal on the west coast. CMP has their rack/service grade rifles from $630-730 plus transfer, DROS (for CA), shipping, etc., so it will be close to $900 all said. I received a service grade last year from the CMP with a Springfield '44 receiver, a '46 barrel and Winchester trigger group. overall, it was in good condition and functions well. The stock has a hairline crack and had been pinned and the front hand guard/sight were a 1/4 turn too loose on the cylinder nut. plays havoc on my marksmanship and i am going to tighten it with some felt. My '43 M1 is too good to ever see a reenactment. Pictures would be great and I wish good luck if Wyatt or Alan or any other of our guys decide to jump on it. If they pass on this deal, I will consider. I have to play catch-up with my uncle who has 15+, all something to drool on (if you drooled oil, that is) but not at the expense of our team. IMHO, every lawful, loyal person should own one of these outstanding, historic rifles. they are a class above and unequaled by most of today's popular choices.

Here's a link/ email to Sarco. If you want to start collecting the parts cheaply for a Garand, it's an option. They are showing Italian or Argentine BM-59 parts kits for sale $359.00 You can follow up with the LT. He will have some idea where to get more parts. ecomm@sarcoinc.com
