National Capital Historical Sales has a bunch of different patch variations for sales. They also have a nice Bullion Patch, which goes great on Class A's or Leather A-2 Jacket reproduction of a WWII US army officers hand Embroidered bullion 82nd airborne division shoulder patch. main patch is full machine embroidered using WWII style machines soft full machine embroidered with cut edge, airborne and AA are hand embroidered bullion. size 2 3/8 x 3 1/4 inches. listing is for one (1) patch photo shows front and back. www.nchsinc.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=b1108

National Capital Historial Sales is definitely a great source for very accurate patches. I definitely need to pick up a Bullion Patch for my Class A's.
While other sites offer patches, I have yet to find a site that is comparable to this one in amount of variations of patches.

Here is some interesting trivia. With the overwhemling focus on just the 82nd and 101st and their patches. One is left to figure out this one. What is this patch and how does it relate?

Here are the two patches . Maj Gen Matthew B Ridgway, who until then was the Commanding General of the 82nd Airborne Division. Meanwhile, Assistant Division Commander, General James Gavin was also promoted and assumed command of the 82nd Airborne
