What is the first thing I should obtain? On the journey to have the complete impression, the first thing you should get is a pair of WW2 type Jump boots. Buy good ones. A sore footed, injured paratrooper is a casualty. Buy the best ones here: www.workbootsusa.com/come10hilemi.html$134.95 shipped. They run true to size and will last you a long time if you take care of them. I have two pairs. One pair for class A's and one pair for the field. Both pairs are spit shined.

Also they need to be broken in long before you come to an event.

To break them in: Wear thick sox pour water inside dump out water put the boots on lace up as tight as you can comfortably pour water on the outside rub wet boots with your hands while still wearing them wear until dry
The boots are now wet molded to your foot. Skip a hole in the middle while lacing them.

I have heard that World War Two Impressions' Jump Boots are also high quality and long lasting.
Would anybody be able to comment on that? Also, can anyone give a compare and contrast between the WWII Impressions Jump Boots and the ones that Mayo posted up?
I only have the Work Boot USA ones, and I am so happy with them, I'm not even thinking about getting a second pair from anywhere else.

The WW2 Impressions are the same as the Corcorans except Juan has them made with cotton stitching. They are both Corcorans made by the Cove boot Company. Juan's are special order ones with cotton thread.

If they are listed as Corcorans, they are good. The regular ATF boots do not have as much padding inside and will not hold a shine. If you are at the point that you are ready to buy boots, send me a message with your size and I will check to see which vender has the best price right now.
